Portable Diamond View Polariscope and Darkfield Light

This new hand held polariscope brings two professional gemological tools in an extremely portable package. The darkfield is used to identify the characteristics of diamonds and gemstones freely. Features a mini-darkfield and bright lighting that includes long lasting LED lighting. The darkfield illumination will make any flaws or inclusions "Pop" out and become highly visible for clarity grading or identification.

The polariscope is used by gemologist to detect birefringence (optical gem property of having 2 crystal axis) whitch can be a positive identifier for gemstones. This ultra-portable gemological tool visually shows if a gemstone is doubly or singularly refractive. It is also used for identifying moissanite and detecting strain in diamonds. The unique design allows you to hold and spin the polariscope while holding the gem or diamond with a tweezers in the other hands
