I dragged my feet at first on picking one of these up.. I wish I had acquired it sooner!
Very well made, I compared the teeth of this to an alternative and the other one looked like it was formed from melting wax! I set one of the dies on the back of a 16610..and tried to move it.. no slipping at all! I tried the alternative:It was skidding around.. Simple but it really pointed out the difference right away.
Why? Because my case backs have suffered from lesser openers! If I had started with this, I'd of been able to avoid marks from cheaply made alternatives.
Tip:If you do get one of these, sometimes it's bet to remove the bezel of.. say a submariner so that the torque from the opener does not put pressure on the click spring.. Also it's often wise to lay down a microfiber cloth or something to prevent metal on metal on the movement holder [Not the case back of course].
