Spring Bars
Simple parts can cause many problems, its not worth it to loose your watch because you overlooked having the correct size spring bar in your watch band. With a spring bar, you band or clasp links are held in place and can be removed for repair or for adjustment quickly and easily. Spring bars or spring pins are made up of a hardened metal spring inside of a outer steel rod with one or two protruding notched steps to release the tension. Single shoulder spring bars will have only one step, double with have two steps that can be pushed in from either side. The basic mechanical parts that make up much of the watch are usually easy repairs compared to much more advance mechanical and electrical complexity located inside the watch, but still is important for everyday comfort and security for your timepiece.
