Ruby midget files are made of pure synthetic ruby crystals. Ruby Stones have outstanding wear resistance and are well suited for sharpening carbide gravers and tools. Excellent for sharpening and flattening hard metals, glass, quartz and porcelain.
Used for high detail and ultra-precision work. They may be broken off and cemented onto a holder, or used with a pin vise. Fine grit only, available in three shapes: round, triangle and square. May be used with or without light oil lubrication.
