When you are working on timepieces and small watch parts, a bright working area will help keep you from straining you eyes and allow you to see more clearly. Watchmaker’s benches or working areas usually have an adjustable overhead lamp that can be positioned to get light on the watch movement or timepiece that you are working on without getting in your way.
