3M® polishing papers are soft, cloth like material infused with aluminum oxide grain. Two of the more abrasive grits, 800 & 400, contain silicone carbide. 8.5" x 11" size sheets have a precision micron coating for a uniform, consistent finish on softer material like plastic, aluminum, brass and copper. Excellent for contoured or varying surface because of its lightweight and super flexible quality. Can also be cut to any shape or size for any type of work including CD/DVD repair, jewelry and precious metal finishing and plastic finishing. Available in 6 different grits or "micron grades" from 400 to 10,000. Sold in package of 5 (separate grits).
